Senior Manager - Corporate Finance

Steve holds a Bachelor of Commerce, a Graduate Diploma in Accounting, a Masters in Applied Finance and is a Chartered Accountant.  Steve commenced his career as a corporate finance graduate with BDO Chartered Accountants in Perth, where he provided advice to predominantly resource companies in M&A advisory, corporate and derivative valuations, financial due diligence and financial modelling assignments.  Steve was responsible for the preparation of over a dozen Independent Expert Reports for ASX listed resource companies.

Subsequently, Steve spent four years in the Resources and Infrastructure team of an investment bank based in Sydney.  During that period, he was involved in a broad range of M&A and Debt Capital Markets transactions, advising major Australian and multinational companies spanning a wide suite of commodities and infrastructure assets.  Steve has substantial experience in buy-side and sell-side domestic and cross border M&A as well as all aspects of the arranging and negotiation of Project and Corporate level debt facilities. Since joining Hartleys in 2010, Steve has also been involved in a range of primary and secondary equity issues on the ASX.
